During the past few months I sat back and observed as many incidents unfolded, as lives were lost, as people quickly jumped to social media to speak their mind whether it be about "politics"👎🏾, who's lives mattered🤦🏾‍♂️, sharing their COVID-19 "expertise" etc...

...Or some who were outraged about Colin Kapernick taking a knee during the national anthem but unphased or mildly bothered and said nothing about the continuation of unarmed BLACK americans being kneeled on & murdered or killed in their own home🤔

The lack of compassion, the lack of love & understanding + the amount of lives lost during the quarantine you could say caught me by surprise. I knew hate & racism existed. I knew privilege & ignorance existed. I knew agendas existed. I knew viruses existed. Never knew it would be strong enough to turn the world upside down in today's day & age. Felt like the world was crumbling (still does to some extent).

Being on unemployment for months I had more time than ever to really sit with my feeling and emotions and to be with my wife and my baby boy👶🏽Like so many times before I turned to music for therapeutic purposes and to express myself. During quarantine, fellow TCNJ alumni DRoc blessed me with an incredible production and the emotions spilled onto the mic...

I know now more than ever where people stand...
